This was our first trip for the summer and it was good to be close to home. The boys still had a few school activities going on. We drove through some construction on the way and ended up with a flat tire as we entered the camping area. Whew. The beach was quiet and empty our first afternoon and it felt like a great vacation. Jared had a goal to camp with the sailboat a couple times throughout the summer so we could take it out easily without all the extra hauling back and forth. Rachel and Ely were in town for the week since he is doing online school and Rachel can work virtually. A lot of the Harston family joined for dinner and water play on our second day. We were so happy that our friends, Candy and Paul, came to visit also.

to Germany. Tyler said they barely made it to the plane as it closed the
