Tessa and I got to go to the Clark's womens week at Wolf Creek in Eden. Beckah pampered Tessa with spa treatments. And Grandma Deanie and Teresa had fun crafts. Susie worked on her amazing quilt projects. The weather was nice for a beautiful walk too! The younger kids and I enjoyed the farm while Leisel continued her riding lessons. We had a beautiful work day at the cabin. and Tessa rocked her pumpkin meet. We visited Gardner village for the Witch scavenger hunt. Jared took the kids on a hike. The little Halloween party was with some homeschool and other neighbors. It was our first Covid exposure as some of the family tested positive right after the party. We quarantined for a bit but everyone stayed healthy. The visit to the capitol and downtown was right after elections. We didn't anticipate that protests would be going on in behalf of Trump. It felt like we were living a bit of history to see so many angry citizens rallying. Lastly, another of Jared's business trips took him to the Fresno area and he drove to see the sequoias in Kings Canyon National Park.
We were so excited when we got the first news that they were on the plane
to Germany. Tyler said they barely made it to the plane as it closed the
gate...
