Jordan's PE class for the 2019/2020 school year involved getting a scuba certification. This plan was threatened by Covid restrictions and it was also very challenging to find a class time that worked with Jared's traveling schedule. Luckily everything worked out perfectly. In May The Scuba Dive opened up across the street from our neighborhood and Jared and Jordan were able to take the first class from the owner, Eric. He was so flexible and easy to work with, it was a miracle. Jordan loved all the classroom and in water learning. They competed their certification dives at the Homestead Crater and then took a trip to Sand Hollow with the diving school. A few months later we took a trip to Sand Hollow as a family. We tried to explore Red Cliffs Conservation area but there were fires at that time. The reservoir was so fun, but lots of work for Jared. Snorkeling, diving, tubes, kayaking to the island, water play, cliff jumping, sunbathing. The only drawback was coming home with the bites from water bugs. With so few great diving sites in Utah, I'm sure we'll be back!
