City of Rocks May 2020

The new format with the comments together at the top is better for printing into a blog book.  Not as great for captions, but it keeps the photos layout together.
This was the best adventure and trip close to home!  We visited on a Sunday and had a picnic lunch at the visitors center and then church at one of the beautiful campsites!  The rest of the afternoon was for explore.  So many fun areas!  Leisel and the older boys went with dad on the bathtub climb.  There was a beautiful hike by a stream.   By evening it was getting chili.  We ate some dinner and Michael drove home getting some of his first freeway and night driving hours.  Whew!
We got to spend the night and the next day with the Clarks.  Jordan made a deadfall trap.  And the men put the footings together for the front porch/cold storage room.  So cool!
