New Years 2021 at Lake Mead

This trip to Lake Mead was beautiful and a lot of fun.  It was a longer drive than we've had with the RV but no big mishaps and not too stressful.  The first day we visited Hoover Dam with many other tourists who were staying in Las Vegas for New Years celebrations.  It was so interesting and felt like we were visiting another country.  Then we took a bike ride around the lake on an old railway trail.  The view was nice and there were cool tunnels.  The weather was chili but some of the kids still went to the pool and hot tub one evening.  Another day Jared found a good spot and helped kids rock climb.  I think we watched the ball drop and have party treats for New Years Eve, but things were a little different in an RV this year.  Going out on the lake in a boat was super fun too!  It's great Jared knows how to do all these things!  I worried about the kayakers getting wet and cold but they were so tough!  Yea for adventure!
