Summer 2020 was a little different than other years, because of Covid restrictions. But it didn't feel terrible. We made a list of things to do and had some good times. Jared took charge of the June cherry harvest and all the kids helped for pitting them for freezing. We love cherry smoothies! Grandpa planned a boating day with his childhood friend Jim Daniels. Get togethers with cousins and grandparents were sparce but we were so grateful when they started up again. Splash pads and swimming are the best!! We hosted one of the SVLA kid camps and paddled down the Provo river with the Maxfields (rope swing too). Family bike ride to the park. The Pattersons set up their huge water slide in our backyard and we had nonstop play for a couple days. Michael and Jordan rocked Sim week again! I had a birthday. We got to go to Lagoon and the Provo water park with our Get Out Pass and fit in another lake day at Deer Creek reservoir.
We were so excited when we got the first news that they were on the plane
to Germany. Tyler said they barely made it to the plane as it closed the
gate...
