Home Sweet Home

We are starting to settle down and feel at home in Michigan!
We feel very spoiled to have a beautiful, big apartment.

Moving

After the task of packing our life into boxes, moving day finally came. We had lots of help with loading and unloading. Thanks especially to Jared's parents, Susie and Chris. (Cam took on the pre-mission wisdom teeth extraction earlier that morning.) Some wonderful neighbors also came in the nick of time to lighten the load.

We sent our truck on the way with a trusty ABF driver, and then hung out in Salt Lake for the Dennis Harston family reunion.

August 4th we left to drive across Wyoming, then through Nebraska, Illinois and finally Michigan. The boys were pretty happy when I saw the welcome sign and said "We're in Michigan!" We took lots of stops along the way and enjoyed the drive as much as possible. Here are some pictures of some favorite spots we found.
We really enjoyed the visitor center and temple in Omaha although the pictures didn't work out.

Cousins

Jordan wanted to be next to Becca on her blanket, so we made it a cousin photo opp.

Grandmas Hall of Fame

I'm so glad Michael and Jordan can get to know their great-grandmas a little bit. (especially now that we've moved away)

Logan Friends

The boys have enjoyed looking at photos of our friends in Logan.
The goodbyes weren't fun and we're looking forward to seeing you again.

Koosharem, Utah

Reunion time take-two! We celebrated the 4th of July at the Hatch family reunion in Koosharem.


Jordan made a cute friend in the Craig Rupp family. Casi looks sweet but watch when she's driving a 4-wheeler!

The highlight of the gathering was seeing all those cute cousins in the parade.
