Toward the end of July, we got word that Grandpa Keller had passed away. He had been deteriorating rapidly for the last several weeks, but it was still somewhat unexpected. Jerry was one of those men who stayed fairly healthy and kept hanging in there despite the challenges of aging. He had a huge support network of family close by and they all came together for a special funeral service. It was meaningful to see Jared's cousins and all the Clark men and their wives (and Mary Ellen.) They are a great family and Jerry and Ellen created a loving legacy. After the services we were able to see a super fun production of Annie by the Earls and Hildebrants.
