Football and the Fair

One Saturday this fall we squeezed in a trip to the State Fair our favorite Stake Harvest fair at church and a BYU football game for the boys.

We looked at the displays at the fair and then watched one of the shows.
Alligator wresting was Jordan's choice. :)

We got suckered into a family photo holding two baby alligators.  The kids were too little in Florida to do it, so we snagged the chance in right here at the Utah State Fair.

The boys won a free ride with the summer reading program.
Leisel won the hot dog decorating contest.
although Tessa thought she should have...
Michael even ran into his friend from school that we hadn't been able to connect with!

Then our crazy Pocatello cousins rolled into town to cheer on the Cougs.  Our boys got home after midnight, and the Allens drove the rest of the way home to Idaho!

Dinner before the game.
Jenny is taking these photos, but she is the awesome sister that hosted the boys!

Beginning School

Our favorite kindergartener!
Leisel put on her uniform-ish dress too. :)

Lagoon Day

Jared's work hosted a day at Lagoon.  We caught up with the group a few times, but mostly got pictures of the family.  I made it on my share of rides but stayed with the baby most of the day.  Michael was excited to do the new Cannibal!  I think Tessa went on Colossus 3-4 times.  We all had a great time!

(still excited about a new missing tooth)

Here's the whole clan with the princesses.  This isn't the Surprise photo, but with the last camera, instead of "cheese" the photographer told us to chant, "Haley's having a baby!"   soo clever and soo excited for another cute cousin  :)
lessons about being polite, curtsying, making snow and dancing :)

Games from Susie and Haley -- The boys got in on the fun and plenty of good food

It's what memories are made of!

Summer Campouts and Hikes and Sailing

Jared took every opportunity to get us out to play in the mountains or cook and camp in the backyard this summer.  We used all the gear from our Christmas gifts and had some adventures.
Pretty cute trailer at the neighbors campsite!
"Helping pack up"

more fish!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great venue!
Yea for Fathers and Sons Outings!
Then Jared squeezed in a trip to Fish Lake with the Clark men and boys.

We made it on one or two of Amy's hikes.  Always glad when we do.

Pre- and Post- scout camp.  The only reason his T shirt is clean at the end of the day is because it was under the scout shirt.  All the boys were coated with dirt.  Lots of cub scout fun.
