Arches, Canyonlands, and Mesa Verde

At the end of May, we left town to see some sights in Southern Utah.
Be prepared for an epic amount of photos.
We had a great adventure seeing amazing places and exploring together.
First stop was the hike to Delicate Arch.
We loved all the rock formations and red rock!

Day 2 was to Canyonlands
We found a few great hikes and lookouts.

Day 3 we stopped in Monticello and stopped at the temple and then toured a small liberal arts college.  We decided to make the extra drive into Colorado to Mesa Verde and see the Native American ruins of the cliff dwellers.

It was incredible to think about why they built their homes in the cliffs and then climbed to the top of the mesas for farming.
We saw homes wedged in every crevice along these mesas for miles throughout the park.
and then we went to the Cliff Palace site for our walking tour.

Daddy's work

In January, Jared started work as a consultant for businesses who want to pass certain standards and get ISO certified.  We're grateful for the people he gets to work with and the new skills he gets to use.  We miss him when he leaves for a few days each month, but it's fun to hear about his adventures.  And we're glad he loves it!
This was our theme room at the doctor office.  And Daddy was on a plane at the same time!

A visit with Dad on Facetime during one of his trips!!
