Summer Campouts and Hikes and Sailing

Jared took every opportunity to get us out to play in the mountains or cook and camp in the backyard this summer.  We used all the gear from our Christmas gifts and had some adventures.
Pretty cute trailer at the neighbors campsite!

more fish!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great venue!
Yea for Fathers and Sons Outings!
Then Jared squeezed in a trip to Fish Lake with the Clark men and boys.

We made it on one or two of Amy's hikes.  Always glad when we do.

Pre- and Post- scout camp.  The only reason his T shirt is clean at the end of the day is because it was under the scout shirt.  All the boys were coated with dirt.  Lots of cub scout fun.

Finishing another EPIC

Here are some more of the wonderful adventures we get to have with the Maxfields this year.

exploring in Rock Canyon

making special boats to float in Utah Lake
Trying out snowshoes
Donut Falls winter hike
The boys shopped for and prepared a tasty lunch!
We have a photo like this from two years ago somewhere on the blog.
Our nearly rainy May campout at a nice site in American Fork canyon.

The baby stayed super bundled the whole time and slept well on his FIRST camping trip!

fishing from our campsite

Paul...Bunyan
Our Pocahontas Leisel is in the front.
Amazingly Tessa won't set foot in a canoe.
Jared on his maiden solo voyage
successful fishing at the cabin!  Fisher showed the boys how to clean the fish.
Tessa was so proud to carry the 2nd catch of the day - gutted and beheaded to the cabin.
What a gal!
These are beautiful portrayals of the "interview questions" from Elder Ballard's talk in conference.

We summited our mountain!
