Harston cousins

Seth turned 16!  We sure miss him.
Once a year when our Harston cousins come into town from Kentucky, we do lots of running around to spend as much time as possible with them.  The kids LOVE being with their cousins!!
This year we discovered Soren's fun personality.

We squeezed in our first trip to Seven Peaks when the cousins were in Utah County with other family.

On Grandpa's birthday, we enjoyed family time at This is the Place Heritage Park.

Apple Pie for Grandpa at the Scovill Bakery -- cooked in the wood burning stove without a running water or a dishwasher... :)
    Cabin Welcome

The cabin hosted us for a weekend reunion with as much family as could be mustered..

Talent Show and good food too

      "Our Mountain Home So Dear"
The hike was a success... with smores and slip n' slide promised for afterward

Jenny's jet skis were initiated in Utah. and the weather mostly cooperated.

These were the bonding moments when the afternoon showers pushed us all under a little beach tent.

Sunnier days in the valley and a last hurrah with cousins at the splash park.
      Till next year!

      Beth and Ruth

We started off our summer in June with Beth and Ruth staying for a week or two.  Their mom and dad got to visit mission friends in Paraguay while we played.
opening "I love you presents" each morning from their mom and dad
visiting and playing with Aunt Linda :)
I had to take a photo when Jordan tasted the pine gum "like the pioneers." :(

water play in the back yard
trains with the kitchen chairs during clean-up

Throwing rocks in the river  --  The girls got sick during the visit and we had to visit places to play where we wouldn't share germs.
